Love Letter - Do you point thumbs or fingers?

What is the difference?

Pointing fingers is a victimized mindset. Pointing thumbs is a ownership mindset.

It is very easy to point fingers and blame everyone and everything around you for what happens to you. It is very easy to say "it's not my fault" and remove any responsibility from what happened or is happening.

What is hard to do is point thumbs at yourself and say "I am in control of my life and what happens". What is hard to do is take ownership/responsibility and know that it falls on you to do better.

But here is the thing, magical things start to happen in your life when you do point thumbs. Great things start to occur when you know you do have the ability to control your life. Amazing things come from not making excuses or complaining.

I urge you to point thumbs. I encourage to realize that you do have more control in your life then you might think. It's going to require a growth mindset and it's going to require change.

But it will be rewarding.

Respectfully,

Josh Melendez
