Train for HYROX at CrossFit Be Someone Every Saturday at 9:30 AM

If you've been hearing more and more about HYROX and wondering what all the excitement is about, you're not alone. HYROX has quickly become one of the fastest-growing fitness races in the world, bringing together everyday fitness enthusiasts and elite competitors for a challenging event that tests endurance, strength, and mental toughness.

At CrossFit Be Someone, we're excited to announce that we now offer a dedicated HYROX class every Saturday at 9:30 AM.

Whether you're signed up for your first race in Dallas, Mexico, or anywhere else in the world, our goal is to help you arrive at the starting line confident, prepared, and ready to have fun.

One of the reasons HYROX has become so popular is because it's designed for everyone. You can complete the event individually, compete alongside a partner, or participate as part of a relay team. No matter which division you choose, you'll challenge yourself through a combination of running and functional fitness movements that test your overall fitness from start to finish.

The atmosphere at every HYROX event is incredible. Thousands of athletes come together to encourage one another, celebrate accomplishments, and push beyond what they thought they were capable of doing. If you've never participated in one before, we genuinely recommend putting one on your calendar. It is an unforgettable experience that will challenge you physically while giving you a measurable way to test your fitness.

That said, it's important to understand one thing.

HYROX is an event, not a training program.

Many people make the mistake of thinking they need to replace their current fitness routine with HYROX-specific workouts several days a week. For the overwhelming majority of people, that simply isn't necessary.

This is exactly why we only offer one HYROX class each week.

Our CrossFit program already develops the qualities needed to successfully complete a HYROX race. Every week you are building strength through lifting, improving your cardiovascular endurance, increasing your stamina, practicing functional movement patterns, and developing the mental resilience required to keep moving when fatigue begins to set in. Those are the exact qualities you'll rely on during race day.

When you consistently attend CrossFit classes, you're preparing for much more than just the workout in front of you. You're developing a broad fitness base that allows you to perform well in a variety of physical challenges, including HYROX.

Our Saturday HYROX class simply gives you an opportunity to become familiar with the flow of the event. You'll practice pacing strategies, transitions between running and functional movements, and learn how to manage your effort over the duration of the race. It's an excellent way to build confidence before competition while continuing to prioritize the well-rounded fitness that CrossFit is known for.

Now, if your goal is to qualify for the World Championships, finish on the podium, or compete with the sport's elite athletes, your training will eventually need to become much more specific. Just like preparing for a marathon, Olympic weightlifting meet, or competitive CrossFit season, high-level performance requires specialized programming that emphasizes the exact demands of the sport.

For everyone else whose goal is to cross the finish line, challenge themselves, improve their fitness, and have an incredible experience, consistent CrossFit training combined with our weekly HYROX class is more than enough to prepare you.

There are several ways you can train with us.

If you join one of our CrossFit Group Memberships, you'll receive full access to our Saturday HYROX class as part of your membership. This is the best option for athletes who want to improve their overall fitness while preparing for an upcoming race.

If you're looking for more individualized coaching, we also offer Personal Training and Semi-Personal Training. These options allow us to customize your training based on your current fitness level, race goals, schedule, and any limitations you may have. Whether you're trying to complete your first HYROX or improve your previous finish time, we can build a plan that helps you succeed.

If you're already training elsewhere but simply want additional HYROX-specific sessions, we also offer HYROX Drop-In passes, 5-Class Packs, and 10-Class Packs, giving you the flexibility to train with us when it fits your schedule.

At CrossFit Be Someone, we're proud to help athletes throughout Greater Heights, Heights, Garden Oaks, Rice Military, and River Oaks prepare for their next fitness challenge. Whether your race is in Dallas, Mexico, or another city across the globe, we'd love to be part of your journey.
