For the past six years, we’ve made it a tradition to host a yearly gym vacation, and every year it just keeps getting better. What started as a simple barge party has evolved into full-on adventures where the fitness you’ve earned in the gym gets to shine in the real world.
Why do we do it? Because we never want our athletes to think the goal is just to be good at working out. The goal is to use your fitness in real life. Whether that means hiking to a mountain lake, horseback riding across scenic trails, dancing all night with friends, or taking on an activity you never thought you’d do, these trips are proof that what we do inside the gym empowers you outside of it.
These vacations are our way of showing that all your hard work pays off beyond the whiteboard. It pays off in unforgettable experiences, stronger relationships, and a better, more capable you.
From Barge Parties to Full-Blown Adventures
Our first gym vacation was simple. A barge party, some sunshine, and a group of athletes who wanted to relax and have fun together. It was casual, laid-back, and centered around community. But over time, we saw the opportunity to do more. We wanted to create moments where your fitness could be expressed in beautiful, challenging, and unforgettable ways.
Since then, our gym vacations have grown. We’ve gone hiking, horseback riding, zip-lining, exploring new cities, and so much more. Every trip brings something new. And every year, we see people stepping outside their comfort zones, pushing themselves, and doing things they might not have imagined themselves doing.
These experiences are powerful. They build confidence. They create stories. And they bond people together in a way that only shared challenge and adventure can.
The Power of Community Outside the Gym Walls
One of the top reasons people walk through our doors at CrossFit Be Someone is community. Sure, they want to get fitter, stronger, or leaner. But many are also looking for real connection. They want to be around people who will challenge them, support them, and encourage them to grow.
